Product Marketing Storytelling

I'm finishing my B.S. in Leadership & Business Management with a marketing concentration at NYU, graduating December 2026. For the past two years I've run listing launches for a luxury real estate agent and made short-form content that reached 24,000+ people, and I'm co-founder and CMO of Micro, an AI productivity app. Before marketing, I spent nine years in veterinary medicine, where I learned to prioritize fast, stay calm under pressure, and lead a team.

a little about me

I've been the one organizing the group for as long as I can remember.

In high school I was secretary and publicist for the Vietnamese Student Association, and I raised $4,600 to travel through Europe as a People to People Student Ambassador. At NYU I served as recruitment chair for Alpha Kappa Delta Phi. Then I spent nine years in veterinary medicine, where leading meant keeping a team steady through emergencies.

Off the clock, I dance. I've been on Level V Origins Dance Team since 2017, and my high school team were USA Nationals finalists. I recently took an adult ballet intensive, which became my most-viewed reel. I've traveled to 15 countries and speak English and Vietnamese.

How I use AI: it's part of my everyday workflow. Micro is an AI app, Journi was an AI product concept, and I built this site with Claude, directing the strategy, content and design and refining it through conversation.

Micro: an AI coworker, marketed before launch

Micro is an AI productivity app with a mascot coworker, a pixel office you decorate as you finish tasks, and a tone setting that decides how blunt your reminders get.

The question
What makes people stick with a productivity app, and how do we build an audience before the app exists?
What I did
  • Ran 12+ one-on-one user interviews and turned recurring pain points into onboarding, messaging and UX changes across 15 TestFlight builds.
  • QA-tested each build and documented friction points for the founder and product designer.
  • Built the landing page and Brevo CRM from scratch.
  • Launched Micro on eight channels (Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, Discord, YouTube, LinkedIn and Reddit), with positioning written for each one.
What came of it
30 waitlist signups before beta, and a product shaped around what users told us.

From listing launch to closing day

As executive assistant and transaction coordinator for a luxury real estate agent, I run both halves of a sale: the marketing that brings buyers in, and the contract timeline that gets the deal to the closing table.

The question
How do you get busy agents to tour a $2.5M home, and then keep every party on schedule once there's a contract?
What I did
  • Designed the broker's open invite for 6600 Reserves Hill Ct around what agents care about: the location, a catered lunch, the home's private golf simulator, and free professional headshots for touring agents.
  • Wrote and designed a two-page features sheet that sorts 40+ selling points into scannable sections.
  • Coordinate photo and video shoots, social content and print pieces so each listing launches on time.
  • Run the full contract timeline from accepted offer to closing, tracking every deadline and keeping agents, clients, lenders, title companies and vendors on schedule.
  • Manage contracts, the CRM and the Google Business Profile, and take on projects independently, including pitching marketing ideas.
What came of it
Since November 2024, I've coordinated 10 transactions from contract to closing: 7 home sales totaling $10.7M, ranging from $780K to $2.5M, plus 3 leases.

Airbnb: should you buy at $122?

An investment recommendation for Airbnb stock, built on a free cash flow valuation and a hard look at the risks most models skip.

The question
Airbnb is a great business. Is its stock still worth buying at today's price?
What we did
  • Built a five-year free cash flow (FCFF) model, projecting cash flow from $2.72B in 2025 to $4.96B in 2029, and tested how the fair value moves with the discount rate.
  • Checked the DCF against EV/Revenue, EV/EBITDA and P/E multiples and weighted the results.
  • Scored short-term rental regulation risk across NYC, Paris, Spain, Germany and the UK, and assessed upside from the new Instacart partnership.
What came of it
A HOLD call. The DCF showed $136 per share (11.5% upside), but the weighted valuation of $96.20 and regulatory risk meant the price was already fair.

Martinez Cocina: three personas, built from the data

Our class ran as a mock marketing agency, Goldman Snacks. Our mock client, a family-run hot sauce brand newly acquired by Fiesta Todos, needed to know who to target to grow without losing its core customers.

The question
Which customers can help Martinez grow grocery sales 50% and online sales 25% by 2028?
What I did
Worked across the whole report, from the personas to the recommendations. We combined Martinez's customer segments, Fiesta's customer base, social performance data and hot sauce market research into three personas, each with a reason to target and a plan to reach them.
SegmentationPersonasData storytelling
53%of Martinez customers

Valentina, the Latino family cook

Overlaps with Fiesta's core shopper (45%), so she's the easiest to grow through grocery.

Reach her: Latin aisle placement, bilingual shelf tags, weekend tastings, recipe content on Pinterest and Facebook.

28%of Martinez buyers

Jayden, the Gen Z food explorer

Instagram already drives 53% of Martinez's online conversions.

Reach him: videos under 15 seconds (a 10-second clip hit 95% completion), creator and athlete collabs, limited drops, gift bundles.

16%of customers

Mike, the spicy-food sports fan

A heavy repeat buyer that Fiesta doesn't serve at all, so he's new revenue.

Reach him: Knicks and game-day partnerships (Knicks videos drew 1M+ impressions each), wing and grilling promos, holiday gift packs.

REI: loved brand, lost sales. Then #GearUpAndGo.

A consumer behavior study of REI. I led the research method and results, wrote the case for why people shop there, and created the #GearUpAndGo campaign concept.

The question
REI has strong brand equity. What keeps people from buying there?
What I did
  • Designed a six-section online survey covering shopping behavior, brand awareness, retail experience, perceptions and demographics. Collected 60 responses and flagged the skew toward friends and family.
  • Analyzed the results: brand equity was strong, price was the biggest barrier, and Amazon was the main competitor (75% vs. REI's 35%).
  • Created #GearUpAndGo, which turns REI's once-a-year #OptOutside into a daily push, with nano, micro and macro creators and a membership hook: "Join once for just $30. Adventure for life."

Journi: pitching an AI travel planner, Shark Tank style

Journi builds personalized itineraries in seconds and stays free for travelers. Restaurants and attractions pay $828 a year for placement.

The question
Can a travel app that's free for users make money, and is it worth funding?
What I did
  • Mapped the problem, solution, customers and channels in a lean canvas.
  • Built a five-year financial model in Excel, growing from 150 sponsors in year one to 4,000 in year five.
  • Stress-tested it against slower growth and higher costs, then pitched a $300K ask.
What came of it
A base-case NPV of +$966,693 and an IRR of about 86% at a 20% required return. Every stress scenario stayed NPV-positive.

Lasvit: scaling a luxury glass studio

Lasvit pairs centuries-old Bohemian glassmaking with modern architecture. Our consulting team advised its board on how to grow without losing its creative edge.

The question
How do you scale a company built on artistry without standardizing the art?
What we did
  • Proposed replacing serial hand-offs with permanent project cells, each co-led by a designer, an engineer and a project manager from day one.
  • Applied transformational and servant leadership, and designed a balanced scorecard that rewards innovation alongside margins.
  • Flagged two risks, the efficiency trap and the loss of master glassblowers, with an apprenticeship pipeline to address the second.
My part
I worked on all of it, from the ideas to the slides.

Travelpro vs. the trendy hardshells

A product review written for a Travel + Leisure-style audience, drawing on my own travel to 15 countries.

The question
Why do pilots choose a 39-year-old luggage brand over the Instagram favorites, and how can that brand catch up on social?
What I did
  • Compared Travelpro's front-opening softside with clamshell hardshells from Away, Béis and Monos on design, weight, price and airline-damage coverage.
  • Interviewed a flight attendant and frequent travelers, and weighed the counterargument for hardshells.
  • Recommended how Travelpro can compete on branding without giving up function.
